• Plano Housing Corporation buys existing homes and remodels them so they are energy efficient, safe and affordable to maintain.  We sell these homes to buyers who qualify for our programs.  The buyer obtains a mortgage that they can afford, makes a reasonable down payment and Plano Housing Corporation makes up the difference in the cost of the home.  As long as the buyer stays current on their first mortgage PHC's second lien doesn’t have any payments.  If the buyer sells the home, a portion of the this second lien may have to be repaid from the sale of the house.  The buyer can enjoys part of any increase in the value of the home.
• We can provide down payment assistance to buy any affordable home in Plano.  PHC doesn't have to sell you one of our houses to provide down payment assistance if you qualify for our programs.
